Patih Gadjah Mada - The Legend of Indonesian History

 

Patih Gadjah Mada, is a legend of Indonesian history. Gadjah Mada is the governor of the Majapahit Kingdom who is famous for his Palapa Oath. From the Palapa Oath, Gajah Mada struggled to unite the archipelago. His name is honored and remembered for all time upon its services. On this occasion, I presented Patih Gadjah Mada who I had digitally painted using watercolor effect with photoshop. 

In summary, the stages in creating the painting are as follows:

1. Image size used 1380 px; 1380 px, resolution 300 ppi

3. Using multi-layer + layer mask (background, Gadjah Mada)
4. For the background using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + soft light (opacity 51%)
5. For the Gadjah Mada using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + soft light (opacity 53%)
6. To create a watercolor painting effect, each image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
7. Use the watercolor effect brush tools for layer masks
8. Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
9. To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
10. Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast 24, and brightness 311)
11. Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -20)
