Cute Hijab Female in Digital Watercolor Painting

The watercolor painting effect is one of several painting effects that can be created digitally. In this article, I only show the results of digital paintings that I have created using photoshop. I am not a photoshop expert, but I try to be able to produce digital paintings as attractive as possible for you.

In creating the digital painting above I used the original hijab woman image from here, and I apply the watercolor painting effect using photoshop. Mainly, the methods to create the above image are as follows:

  1. I create the background by using the watercolor brush tool
  2. I use image resolution 300 ppi with size 380 px; 1000 px,
  3. Using multi-layer + layer mask (background, model, and wildflower)
  4. For the background using a single layer, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%)
  5. For the model using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + pin light (opacity 100%)
  6. For the wildflower using 2 layers, the blending mode each used is multiply (opacity 68%)
  7. For each image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
  8. Use the watercolor effect brush tools for layer masks
  9. Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
  10. To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
  11. Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -41, and brightness 29)
  12. Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -26)
  13. The method used as mentioned above really depends on how your artistic character and creativity.
