Acrylic painting is painting with a material called acrylic, which produces bright colors. This technical painting is often used for various experiments, in shoes, bags, or various other fabric materials. Acrylic can be just as beautiful as an oil painting. As techniques for creating, mixing, and applying acrylic paints have improved over the years, it is sometimes very difficult to distinguish an acrylic painting from an oil painting.
Referring to the understanding above, in this post, I try to present a digital acrylic painting that I created using the Photoshop effect. For the model, I use the original image here, the original image of bamboo can be found here, and the brief methods to create the above image are as follows :
- The image size I'm using is 1380 px; 1380 px, with resolution of 300 ppi
- For the background create an acrylic painting effect using the acrylic effect brush tools
- For the background using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + pin light (opacity 100%)
- Using multi-layer + layer mask (background, model brunette, bamboo, and wildflower)
- For the model brunette using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + hard light (opacity 82%)
- For the bamboo using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + linear burn (opacity 100%)
- For the wildflower using 2 layers, the blending mode used is linear burn (opacity 100%) + hard light (opacity 100%)
- For each image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
- Use the acrylic effect brush tools for layer masks
- Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
- Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -25)
- Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -42, and brightness 51)
And as the end of this post, please enjoy the digital paintings that I have created. You can develop it according to your artistic soul.
