Beautiful Indonesian Girl in Modern Kebaya

Kebaya is a traditional blouse worn by Indonesian women made of thin material worn with a sarong, batik, or other traditional knitwear such as songket with colorful motifs. Kebaya at the present time has undergone various design changes. In general, Kebaya is often used at certain celebratory parties. From formal parties with business partners, weddings, traditional event celebrations, to school graduation celebrations such as graduation.

In this post, I want to promote the beauty of Indonesian kebaya to the world through digital paintings that I have created. The original image of kebaya girl can be found here, and the brief methods to create the above image are as follows :

1. Technique: watercolor effect using photoshop
2. Image size that  I used is 1380 px; 1380 px, resolution 300 ppi
3. Using multi-layer + layer mask (background, kebaya girl model, bamboo)
4. For the background using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + soft light (opacity 75%)
5. For the kebaya girl model using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + soft light (opacity 75%)
6. For the bamboos, each using 2 layers,  the blending mode used is normal (opacity 100%) + linear burn (opacity 65%)
7. To create a watercolor painting effect, each image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
8. Use the watercolor effect brush tools for layer masks
9. Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
10. To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
11. Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -23, and brightness 24)
12. Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -14)
